uranus appeared in sailormoon S, as the agressive and brash sailorsenshi who searched for the pure heart that contained her talisman (the space sword) along with sailorneptune. before becoming a senshi, she was approached by michiru (sailorneptune). she told haruka (sailoruranus's "normal" form) that she was a sailor senshi...haruka refused to believe her. eventually, though, haruka saved michiru's life, and realized her power as a sailor senshi! haruka is a tough, rather sarcastic, boyish young woman. she is often mistaken as a man, because she dresses, looks, and talks like one. she attends maguen gakuen high with michiru, and hotaru.. and lives with them also, along with sailorpluto/setsuna.

haruka is an arrogant girl, who enjoys teasing usagi (sailormoon) and minako (sailorvenus), because they both mistook her as a young man. i like haruka a lot, mostly because she thinks she's better than almost everyone else, and lets them know it! she is a bit musically-inclined, and plays the piano very well. transformed, haruka has powers over the earth and wind, making her quite powerful, indeed.

as you read earlier, sailorneptune and uranus were searching for pure hearts that contained their talismans. it so turned out that uranus and neptune carried the talismans in their own hearts. their pure hearts were taken, the talismans were revealed, and they died... but then were revived later on. during the search for their talismans, uranus and neptune show an obvious devotion and adoration towards each other, which only deepens as the series goes on.

sailoruranus's attacks and transformations

*uranus planet power, make-up!*-- uranus' one and only transformation. used in sailormoon S, and on.
*world shaking!*-- uranus shouts this, and she gathers up orange energy in her hand, and blasts it at an enemy. once released from her hand, the energy is shaped like a planet.
*space sword blast!*-- used with the space sword, uranus holds up the sword, it gathers energy, and she blasts the energy at her enemy. very cool.
